Early Intervention
The CHILD Center serves over 120 children from birth to three years of age who have mental, physical or sensory delays or disabilities. Evaluation and Assessment as well as Speech, Physical and Occupational Therapy, Social and Cognitive Development, Communication, and Adaptive Equipment services are available. Counseling and support are also provided for parents and siblings. Transitional services are provided to assist children in transferring to preschool programs. A specialized program of training, counseling and case management provides support and assistance with child rearing for individuals with disabilities who are also parents.
