A new iPhone app is available to help parents organize the process of the individualized education plan (IEP). The free app‚ which can also be used on the iPod Touch‚ is called the IEP Checklist and can create categories for "current performance"‚ "annual goals" and legal requirements. You can download the IEP Checklist app at the iTunes store.

The Arc of the United States is partnering with ABILITY Magazine to raise awareness about disability issues and the resources available to people with disabilities and their families. Using celebrity interviews and human interest stories, ABILITY Magazine not only builds awareness but encourages full participation in community life.
