Family Advocacy Program
"Your action now will determine the future for your loved one."
The Arcs Family Advocacy program brings together family members from all of the chapters of The Arc in New Jersey to advocate for positive changes in public policy focused on improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. The program has two components:
  • The Families Network
This action oriented network of families receives regular e-mail updates on public policy issues and are asked to respond through e-mails, faxes and occasional phone calls.
  • The Family Ambassadors Program
Family member who join will, after completing a short orientation session, become one of the Arcs ambassadors to the Legislature, Governors Office and to other public officials and elected representatives.
To join, sign up on The Arc of New Jerseys web site or call 732-246-2525x42.
